Topside Minis is pleased to announce that our Italian World War I Fleet is nearing completion, with release scheduled for January 2027.
The new collection will feature the warships of the Regia Marina (Royal Italian Navy), representing Italy’s naval forces during the First World War.
Although Italy possessed a formidable fleet of dreadnought battleships and armored cruisers, much of its naval war was fought in the confined waters of the Adriatic Sea. Destroyers, torpedo boats, and small motor launches played particularly important roles in patrols, coastal operations, and attacks against Austro-Hungarian naval forces.
Our new set reflects this variety, from the powerful Conte di Cavour and Caio Duilio battleships to the small but historically significant MAS motor torpedo boats.
